Amazing！Been in such a book slump！ I haven’t been able to finish any books in so long。 Give this trilogy a go！ So good！ :）

Hate to say goodbye！I loved this series and I absolutely hate that this is the final book but everything ended as it should。Alliances are made， the war is fought， villains brutally put down like animals， all the loves are loved， all the wrongs are made right-neat little bows and all that jazz。 Buuuut it seems like maybe there's an opening for an additional book for Nathan and Jessica and if so， I certainly wouldn't skip the chance to see our main 4 again-I'm a sucker for 15 thousand epilogues， t Hate to say goodbye！I loved this series and I absolutely hate that this is the final book but everything ended as it should。Alliances are made， the war is fought， villains brutally put down like animals， all the loves are loved， all the wrongs are made right-neat little bows and all that jazz。 Buuuut it seems like maybe there's an opening for an additional book for Nathan and Jessica and if so， I certainly wouldn't skip the chance to see our main 4 again-I'm a sucker for 15 thousand epilogues， the futures of their future。 。。。more

I was hooked on this book from the moment that I started reading it and I was very glad that I had some extra time as I discovered I could not put it down once started and I finished it within a few hours。 It moves along at a great pace， has interesting characters that you will find yourself falling in love with and a story that will not disappoint。 This book is a must read， you will not be sorry that you did。

This is it， Vampire Wars is the third book in the Kingdom of Blood trilogy。 This book wraps up Mikka's story and does it with a bang or should I say a boom？ Tyresius has lost his mind， just when I didn't think the old vampire could become any more evil he goes and ups it。 Tyresius is building an army using that horrible scrum that he's created and the old vampire is bent on world domination but Mikka and the guys can't let that stand。 With help from an unlikely source， it's time to go to war bec This is it， Vampire Wars is the third book in the Kingdom of Blood trilogy。 This book wraps up Mikka's story and does it with a bang or should I say a boom？ Tyresius has lost his mind， just when I didn't think the old vampire could become any more evil he goes and ups it。 Tyresius is building an army using that horrible scrum that he's created and the old vampire is bent on world domination but Mikka and the guys can't let that stand。 With help from an unlikely source， it's time to go to war because Tyresius won't stop until he rules over all and Mikka won't stop until either he's dead or she is。Mikka has always been in the vampires are monsters and pretty much had a self-loathing mindset especially since she's been turned but funnily enough， she doesn't see the guys that way。 Connor， Rome， and Bastian have all wormed their way into Mikka's heart， she doesn't see them as monsters but she sees the people they are。 After being on the run from Tyresius and a few unforeseen events Mikka's outlook about vampires start to change and who helps her with this revelation the most but Connor， sweet， positive， sunny， Connor whose heart is so huge that even Mikka's darkness and negativity can't stand up to it。 Mikka witnesses firsthand that not all vampires are monsters， they are like humans， some good， some evil but not the entire species。 Mikka has finally come to terms with everything and sees that there can be good in the vampire world but she is still the badass that will stop any vampire that is actually a monster， Mikka actually gains a healthy balance。 she's learning how to be a vampire and enjoy what she has。As for the guys， Mikka isn't the only one who changes。 The guys have grown closer through their love for Mikka， they get along， have an understanding that Mikka is above all for each of them and they're forming a bond between。 No more petty squabbles or trying to one-up the other because they each understand that the others aren't going anywhere。 After being on the run and trying to get help to stop Tyresius， the guys also started to recognize the bad in the vampire society， and how antiquated a lot of the rules are。 Bastian had already started to make changes before the coup but I think that was mainly from Mikka's influence now he realizes that things need to change all on his own。 As for Rome he pretty much was open the only thing now is that his past has come more into light and he is a lot more open with his feelings。 Things between Mikka and the guys are great and have finally solidified into something more， something stable， something strong。The story was great， it was really interesting seeing how vampire politics work between the clans， with the clans and the clan-less。 To get a glimpse of the bigger vampire world and how they react to a crisis was crazy。 Tyresius wants to take over the world， an all-consuming evil that wants to outright prey on humans and rule over every other vampire and he's got an excellent plan to do it。 I have to admit that Tyresius isn't dumb， he's thought this plan through and is carrying it out a lot quicker than anyone would have thought possible。 The destruction and mayhem he's causing is mind-blowing。 The most interesting part was when Rome's past as clan-less came out and to realize that there are a lot of vampires out there that aren't really thought about。 Seeing the clan-less society was shocking but in a good way， it was good to see another way that vampires live， and lead。As with anything Mikka does， Vampire Wars' ending was action-packed with a lot of planning， fighting， steam， and all-out badassery。 There were a few twists that I didn't see coming but somehow were perfect。 I'm not gonna lie， I finished ninety percent of the book and asked myself if it really was a trilogy， a lot was going on and I had no idea how it was gonna end。 However， I didn't need to worry Callie wrapped up the story perfectly with heartfelt moments and an end to the madness that felt so satisfying， and an epilogue that made me smile。 I think it would be interesting to see another story set in this world， to see all the changes made and maybe the glimpses of everyone。 I wouldn't say no to that。 。。。more
